Finding out he was going to be a daddy to Ava Rose Moreno! Looking at her picture for the first time!
Jackie Tomaso Has had the pleasure of knowing the Moreno Family for almost six years now. She was first introduced to the family while she was working her way through college at Fox and Hound Smokehouse and Tavern in Arlington Heights, IL. She worked with Tania and Alex and from there the rest is history!
Her passion for food stems from her childhood while watching her grandparents and parents cook up their favorite dishes while telling stories of how one day they would own a restaurant and show the world what "real food tastes like". With these memories and dreams instilled in the back of her mind she graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Public Relations and soon after accepted a job as an Event Coordinator for Fox and Hound Restaurant Group. From there she started to pursue her dream of conquering the hospitality industry. While working as an Event Coordinator she was offered to take a few days off and fly down to Del Rio, Texas with the Moreno family, where she had the pleasure of sitting in Tencha's kitchen and taste the food that you are all so lucky to have today. It reminded her of the tastes and smells that she experienced in her own family's kitchen years ago. So, a few years later when she was approached by Alex and Dimas Moreno to become the Catering Manager for their new endeavor Tencha Inc., she did not hesitate to accept the offer. She knew that this was her chance to capture the dream that her grandparents and parents talked about for years. Through all this, her hope is that while working at Tencha she will be able to bring back those same childhood memories of sitting in your grandmother's kitchen to all those who come across our restaurant because to everyone that is what "real food tastes like"!

Greatest Moment: Finding out she was having a little girl named Ava Rose Moreno!!
Tania Moreno - She is the oldest sister at 24 years old. For 19 years of her life she remained the only girl of the family. Growing up
with Dimas, Alex, and Nikko has allowed her to become a stronger person. She has always been a huge family person. Her quote goes as," Through thick and thin your family will always be there!" She has been in customer service for over six years. She started her career at 18 as a banquet server at Randall Oaks Country Club where she acquired the skills to work in the food business. She soon accepted a position at GNC as a sales associate where she continued to work on her skills with customer service.
Tania missed the food business and soon there after accepted a position with Fox and Hound as a server while eventually working her way up through the ranks to a bartender and then eventually a manager. During her stay at Fox and Hound she had the opportunity to work with Alex and Jackie making the transition to food a little easier. There she understood that it's easier to work with people you know to make work alot more fun. She is always laughing, smiling, and enjoying life to its fullest potential. She enjoys making other people do the same. She believes that there is not a better feeling than knowing for a brief second you have lightened up someone's day!
